Classes

Below are descriptions of classes and a workshop that are each offered multiple times throughout the year. All classes are held in person in the Fort Wayne, IN area. Contact Donna by email that you are interested in taking a class or the workshop and she will notify you when the next exact dates have been determined for it to be offered . When you attend any class, please do not wear a scent of any kind as Donna is allergic. Thank you! Some classes are held in Donna’s home. There is a dog and three cats in the home, so if you are allergic you may not be able to attend those classes.

 

Dowsing For Answers

If you want to learn how to quickly find answers to questions on just about anything including health, clearing spaces, manifesting what you want, talking with animals, finding locations for things lost, the most appropriate diet or supplements, and more, this is the class for you. Dowsing expands your natural intuitive and psychic abilities that become a simple, yet powerful skill with big benefits.  You will have the opportunity to learn the many ways dowsing can be practiced to give you guidance. You will learn about the various dowsing tools and how they are used. Also, you will be taught the most appropriate way to ask questions to receive the most accurate answers. There will be time during each class meeting to practice your new skill. Each class meeting will cover much information as dowsing is a multifaceted life skill that has been practiced for centuries. You will receive instruction from Donna Ditton, who has over 40 years dowsing experience. You will receive a 350 page dowsing manual that will serve not only as a book for the class, but as a reference for the rest of your life. In addition to the manual, you will be given  a booklet that breaks down the book as Donna goes over the material in class. The booklet also adds more information and dowsing exercises from other sources. You will be taught what you need to know to be a dowser for life!

The class meets in person in Fort Wayne, IN on two consecutive Saturdays from 10am to 5pm. Class size is 2-4 people.

Humor Yourself Workshop

Laughter comes naturally and is one of the greatest sources of joy we have within us. Think of the last time you had a big belly laugh. How did you feel afterward? Most likely you felt relaxed, at peace, joyful, and in balance. Laughter brings many health benefits. Here are a few. Less anxiety, closer relationships, stimulates the vagus nerve, lowers blood pressure and on and on. Not to mention how it stimulates your brain into being a more creative thinker and better problem solver. Gee is there anything laughter can’t do? Maybe wash dishes.

A well-developed sense of humor not only brings more laughter into your life, but inspires you to be more positive and enjoy life at a higher positive level.  Your sense of humor with laughter is the quickest, easiest, and most fun way to improve your life.

 Your host is Donna Ditton. Donna has been making people laugh since she was a small child. Humor has gotten her through many difficult life experiences and from those experiences came anxiety. During a period of years, she suffered from panic disorder that led to mild agoraphobia. She turned to humor to get through it. She attended a weeklong humor workshop in the Adirondack Mountains learning all the things she is going to share with you. From this training, she created her own workshop, “Humor Yourself”. Over the past 40 years, she has presented many speeches, classroom activities using the content of the workshop. She always used humor in the communication classes she taught for 20 years at Ivy Tech Community College. She created a card game called “Get the Giggles”. She developed a catalog business selling items that would make you laugh or feel more positive. She even wrote her graduate degree thesis on ‘Humor and Its Relationship with Anxiety and Stress”, something she knew a lot about. Donna knows the benefits of humor and laughter very well and shares that knowledge as often as she can.

Donna & Vec Humor Yourself Workshop

In this Humor Yourself Workshop you will be learning how to integrate laughter and your sense of humor back into your life through many playful activities. Some just to make you laugh, some to bring out the child in you, and some where you will learn ways to think more creatively, by activating your funny bone. Laughter brings many health benefits from physical to mental to emotional, and even spiritual. You will experience some of the health benefits of laughter by doing it yourself. The whole workshop is devoted to learning by being more playful, joyful, and creative. You don’t care to learn much of anything if you aren’t having fun or aren’t being inspired. In this workshop, you will experience and enjoy both.

You will receive a booklet with an outline of the class, enough blank paper to take notes and use for some of the activities.  We will meet in an enclosed park pavilion. Weather permitting we may do some of the activities outside. There will be snacks and water provided. No snacks, no fun. Can’t have that. All you need to bring is your smile.

Discovering Who You Are

There are so many experiences, emotions, thoughts ,and yes, people who have led you away from who you came here to be. In this class you will learn how your self-concept and perceptions formed and how they have ruled your life, your decisions, and your view of yourself, others, and the world around you. Emotions have played a major role as well and you will learn how your emotions are stored within your subconscious mind and body and the effects they have had and are having on you. You will explore how the subconscious and conscious minds work. Plus you will learn how to eliminate your habits that no longer serve you and how to create new habits that serve you well. In other words, you will learn how to create change in your life. You will learn how to be who you are, who you came here to be. You will receive instruction from Donna who has over 20 years of experience teaching the content. There will be activities to enhance what you are learning. You will receive 5 Guided Meditation MP3 downloads to use between each class meeting. Also, you will receive a booklet of class content.

Discover the Many Ways to Meditate

Meditation is a practice that is performed in many ways with as many benefits to your life. Learn the many different ways and techniques for meditation. Find the technique that resonates the most for you. We will meditate during each class meeting. You will receive instruction, practice time, and a wonderful meditation book, “Meditation: A Journey to Self-fulfillment”, written by Ellie Hadsall. The class is instructed by Donna Ditton, who has practiced meditation for over 40 years.
